What we collect when you register for a demo class, who else sees it, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
Last updated: 25 July 2026.
SangitArt is the charcoal art teaching practice of Sangita Ladumor. This page explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past, so it is short and specific.
This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no database, and no code running on a server we control. We collect nothing from you while you read it. Everything personal starts when you choose to register for the free demo class, and that registration happens on Google's systems and continues on WhatsApp, which is run by Meta.
The only way to reserve a seat is our registration form, and that form is a Google Form. When you open it you leave this website. Whatever you type into it (your name, your contact details including a phone number, and the other answers the form asks for) is submitted to Google and stored in Google's systems, where we then read it. It never passes through this website.
That means Google is handling your details before we are. Google's own privacy terms apply to how it stores and processes them, in addition to this page.
Every button on this site that opens the registration form adds four tracking parameters to the link: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content. They tell us which page and which button sent you, so we can see which parts of the site are actually useful. Because the link they are attached to is Google's, Google receives them too, alongside your form answers.
Step two of registering is joining our VIP WhatsApp community. This matters more than the rest of this page, so please read it before you register.
To add you to that group we need your phone number, and once you are in the group your phone number and your WhatsApp profile name are visible to every other member of it, not only to us. WhatsApp is run by Meta, so Meta handles your number and your messages there under its own terms. We use the group to send demo class reminders, session links, and course announcements.
Joining is your choice. If you would rather not be in a group with other students, register through the form and tell us so, and we will send your demo class details to you directly instead.
The free demo class runs on Google Meet. If you attend, Google processes your participation in the call, including whatever display name you join with.
This site is served from Amazon Web Services (S3 behind CloudFront). Delivering a page necessarily means your IP address and your browser's user agent reach that infrastructure. We have not enabled request logging on it, so no record of your visits is kept by us or collected for us.
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and to record which registration button was clicked. It sets a cookie named _ga in your browser to tell one visit apart from the next. We look at it as totals, to learn which pages help people and which do not.
We do not use analytics data to build a profile of you.
We do not sell your details, rent them out, or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
This site has no login, no cart, and nothing that needs to remember you between visits, so it shows no cookie banner. Every cookie this site uses is named on this page. There is no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag, and no third-party ad network anywhere on it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
We keep your registration answers while you are in touch with us about the demo class or the program, and for as long as you remain a student, so that we can answer questions about your enrolment. We have not set a fixed deletion date beyond that. If you want your details removed sooner, ask us and we will remove them.
Leaving the WhatsApp community, or asking us to remove you from it, stops any further messages. It does not delete the messages you already sent there, because those sit on other members' phones and in Meta's systems, not ours.
We teach students and teenagers as well as adults, so this part is important. If you are under 18, please do not register on your own. Ask a parent or guardian to fill in the form for you and to be the contact we write to, including on WhatsApp. Indian law requires a parent's or guardian's consent before a child's personal data is processed, and a registration made without it is not something we can rely on.
The registration form does not check anyone's age, so we depend on you telling us. If you are a parent or guardian and you find that your child registered without you, write to us and we will delete the registration and remove them from the WhatsApp group.
We do not use a child's data for advertising, profiling, or behavioural tracking of any kind.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to do the following, and we will act on it.
To use any of these, write to [email address to be published] with enough detail for us to find your registration, such as the name and phone number you registered with. We will reply within 30 days.
One honest limit: Google and Meta hold their own copies of what passed through their systems. We can delete what is in our hands, remove you from the WhatsApp group, and delete your response from the form, but we cannot reach into Google's or Meta's own records for you. For those, use the privacy controls in your Google account and in WhatsApp.
Sangita Ladumor, founder of SangitArt, handles privacy questions and grievances personally. Write to [email address to be published]. There is no separate support desk and no third party answering on our behalf.
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too. If a change is significant, such as collecting something new or sending your details somewhere new, we will say so in the WhatsApp community as well as here.
The terms that apply to the demo class and the program are on our terms and conditions page.
