The terms that apply when you register for a demo class or join the program.

SangitArt is the charcoal art teaching practice of Sangita Ladumor. These terms are the agreement between her and you when you register for the free demo class, join the 30-Day Charcoal Mastery Program, or use this website. By registering, you are agreeing to them.
The 30-Day Charcoal Mastery Program is online art teaching for beginners: structured lessons you watch at your own pace, live doubt support, and personal feedback on the work you submit. The demo class runs on Google Meet and day to day communication runs through our WhatsApp community.
What it is not, so there is no confusion later:
The demo class is genuinely free. There is nothing to pay, no card details to enter, and no obligation to join the paid program afterwards. Seats are limited so that the class stays small enough for real guidance, so a seat is confirmed only once you have registered through the form and we have sent you the joining details.
If we have to move or cancel a demo class, for example because of illness or a connectivity problem, we will tell you in the WhatsApp community and offer you a seat in the next one.
The price of the paid program is not published on this site. It is shared in the free demo class, along with what is included and when the next batch starts. Nothing on this website is an offer at a fixed price, and no page here should be read as quoting one.
This website does not take payments. There is no checkout and no card form anywhere on it. Payment is arranged directly with us after the demo class, and your place in a batch is confirmed when we confirm it to you, not when you submit a form.
Please do not send money to anyone claiming to collect it for SangitArt without checking with us first at [email address to be published]. If a price or a payment instruction reaches you from somewhere other than us, treat it as suspect.
We have not set a refund and cancellation policy yet, and we would rather tell you that than publish a made up one. Before you pay anything, we will give you the refund terms in writing, and those written terms will be what applies to your enrolment. If you have already paid and you want to know where you stand, write to [email address to be published] and ask.
If we cancel a batch we have taken payment for and cannot offer you a replacement batch, we will refund you.
Enrolled students get access to the lesson library, the doubt support sessions, and feedback on submitted work, as described on the program page. Access is personal to you. It is not transferable, and account or link sharing is not allowed.
The lessons are hosted online, so access depends on that library staying online. We intend to keep it available long term, and if we ever have to retire it we will give students notice first.
Your drawings are yours. You own the copyright in everything you make during the program, and you can sell it, exhibit it, or post it wherever you like. We do not take any ownership of student work.
If we would like to show your work as an example, in the gallery or on social media, we will ask you first and we will credit you. You can say no, and you can change your mind later and ask us to take it down.
The lessons, videos, demonstrations, worksheets, and materials guides are ours. You may use them to learn. You may not record, copy, re-upload, resell, share, or teach from them, and you may not pass them to anyone who has not enrolled. This is how a small teaching practice stays viable, so we take it seriously.
The community group is there for demo class updates, course announcements, questions, and sharing work in progress. Joining it means your phone number is visible to the other members, which is covered in our privacy policy. A few rules keep it usable:
We can remove anyone from the group who ignores these, and in a serious case we can end their enrolment. You can leave the group whenever you want.
We are confident in the teaching, and we are honest about what teaching can promise. How much you improve depends on how much you draw, how much you practise between lessons, and how much of the feedback you act on. We cannot and do not guarantee any particular standard of artwork, any specific skill level at the end of 30 days, or any outcome beyond the lessons and feedback we have said we will provide.
We will teach the program with reasonable care and skill. Some things are outside our control, and we are not responsible for them: your internet connection, your device, or an outage in a third party service we use such as Google Meet, Google Forms, or WhatsApp. If one of those interrupts a session, we will reschedule it or make the material available another way.
Art materials are your responsibility to use safely. Charcoal is dusty, fixative sprays give off fumes and need ventilation, and blades and cutters need care. Follow the instructions on the products you buy, and supervise children who are working with them.
Beyond that, and to the extent Indian law allows it, our responsibility to you for anything connected to the program is limited to the amount you actually paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
What we collect, who else sees it, and how to have it corrected or deleted is set out in our privacy policy. Please read it before you register, particularly the part about the WhatsApp community.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute cannot be sorted out between us, the courts at Surat, Gujarat will have jurisdiction over it. We would much rather you wrote to us first and gave us the chance to fix the problem.
We may update this page as the program develops, and the date at the top will change when we do. If a change affects students who are already enrolled, we will tell them in the WhatsApp community rather than expecting them to re-read this page. The terms that applied when you enrolled are the ones that govern your enrolment.
This page is written in plain English so that it can actually be read. It is a statement of how we work, not legal advice, and it does not take away any right you have under Indian consumer law.
